The scope of Veterinary Medicine magazine of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco is to publish quarterly, original articles (full papers), literature reviews, short notes, thesis' summaries of the Postgraduate Programs of the UFRPE, as well as scientific communication in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Production, Biology and correlates areas. Manuscripts should be exclusively submitted.

      The editorial policy of the Veterinary Medicine is to publish the results of original research and manuscripts reviews which contribute significantly to news knowledge. So, preference will be given to manuscripts that develop new concepts or experimental approaches and are not merely repositories of scientific data. The decision of acceptance for publication lies with the Editors Commission, based on the recommendations of reviewers.
